Vivian Siders Obituary
AIKEN - A celebration of life service for Mrs. Vivian Vickery Siders, age 79, will be held 5:00 pm Monday June 26, 2023 at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Dewayne Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be the deacons of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Siders entered into rest on Friday, June 23, 2023, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Mr. Robert Siders and the daughter of the late Mr. Luther Vickery and the late Mrs. Gladys New Vickery. Mrs. Siders was a native of Boyle County, KY but had made Aiken her home for the last 31 years. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Mrs. Siders was a member of the Savannah Historical Society in Savannah, GA for 12 years.
Additional survivors include: two sons Robert (Joy) Ellsworth Siders, Centinial, CO, and Andrew (Joanna) Siders, Aiken; three brothers Chester Vickery, Dayton, OH, David Vickery, Aiken, and Jeffery Vickery, Aiken; and five grandchildren Lee Andrew (Kathryn) Siders, Jr., Joseph Robert Siders, Sheli Faith Siders, Nolan Thomas Siders, and Austin Siders.
Siders was preceded in death by one son Jonathan Siders, and two sisters Loretta Ross and Juanita Anderson.
A visitation will take place one hour prior to service at Solid Rock Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Solid Rock Baptist Church.
