Virginia Speakman Brown
Aiken - A celebration of life service for Mrs. Virginia Dorothy Speakman Brown age 87 will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday May 12, 2021 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Christopher Lowe officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Barlow Tract Deptford TWP, New Jersey and had made Aiken County her home for the past 42 years. She was the wife of the late Paul Brown and a daughter of the late Mr. Robert Emmanuel Speakman and the late Mrs. Alice Vicker Speakman. Mrs. Brown loved to dance, cook and her family. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Aiken, SC.
Survivors include her companion Randy Kissiah, Aiken; two sons, Charles (Gale) Myer, Jackson, Craig (Diane) Weatherill, Logan Township, New Jersey; one daughter, Donna (Tito) Cook, Bath; one sister, Florence Harvey, National Park, New Jersey; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by one son Robert Myer, Jr. two brothers and two sisters.
A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 PM Tuesday May 11, 2021 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175. The service will be live streamed on the Cole Funeral Home Facebook page.
