VINCENZA VINEYARD Obituary

VINEYARD, VINCENZA "VINCE" CLARA PROVENZA - age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at L&L Sweet Home. Member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ladies of Charity, she started the Hospitality Group at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and the Merry Widows. She was the first female usher at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She worked 44 years at First Tennessee Bank, after helping raise her grandchildren. She became a Demo Lady at Sam's Club at Knoxville Center Mall from 1999 to 2005. Preceded in death by husband, George Franklin Vineyard; parents, Frank and Josephine Provenza; brothers, Sam and John Provenza; sisters, Martina P. Taylor and MaryAnn Provenza. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Clarita and Steve Buffaloe; grandchildren, Amelia Bullaloe, Lindsey Gambill, and William C. Lawrence; sister, Rose Vickery and Millie Stamey; several nieces and nephews; a special thanks to Carol Lougheed and the staff of L&L Sweet Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 West Vine Street, Knoxville, TN 37902 or to the Paulist Fathers, North America Paulist Center, 3015 4th Street N.E., Washington, DC 20017-1102. A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Ron Franco officiating. Interment, Lynnhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999 with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
