Vincent Sweeney Obituary
Aiken - Mr. Vincent Sweeney, age 82, transitioned on Monday, August 15, 2022 at ARMC. Services celebrating his life will be held 12 Noon Monday, August 22, 2022 at Jackson-Brooks Memorial Chapel with Rev. J. R. Wise, officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Hill Cemetery, Salley, SC.
He was a 1960 graduate of Martha Schofield High School. Mr. Sweeney was employed for over 30 years with Marriott Inflight Airline Catering services and started Sweeney Cleaning Services in 1985.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Sweeney and Vincent Sweeney, Jr. (Catherine); seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; his siblings, Gladys S. Norman (Joe), Carolyn S. Hall (Rudolph), Woodrow W. Sweeney, Jr., and William "Bill" Sweeney (Ann). I was so sad to hear of his passing. I was his speech therapist at PepperHill and he was so excited to be able to upgrade his diet after his swallowing study. Will always be remembered as one of my nicest patients. Prayers for your family.
