My deepest condolences to the family. Vincent will truly be missed by all who knew him. Vincent was a fun loving person. He liked to joke and he was a man who would do anything to help a person if he could. My son (his nephew) said "He felt almost like a granddad." Praying for comfort and peace from our heavenly Father.
Love ya'll, Aunt Mary

Vincent was a great friend and a brother. We grew up on Fairfield Street next door to each other, and our friendship goes back nearly 70 years. We ate at each other's house; spent nights together; and played together along with my other brothers Lester and Jimmy. You always saw us together. To Vicencia, Karen and Michelle, your father was a wonderful man (dad) and will truly be missed by all that knew him. He can now rest.
Till Later,

Some of my most fond childhood memories are going fishing with my daddy (Reggie Oakman) my uncle (Larry Oakman) and Cousin Vincent. Or when we had parties or cookouts and he was there. Even as a grown man, whenever I saw him, I mentally went back to my childhood. Vincent was a great person and we love and will miss him. On behalf of the Oakman family, yall have our condolences and love!
