GLOVERVILLE - Mrs. Vickie Anne Davis, 63, of Gloverville, SC, loving wife of 38 years to Willie "Dennis" Davis, entered into rest on Friday, June 16, 2023.
Vickie was born in Aiken, SC to the late Ernest Doolittle Sr. and the late Carlene Scott Taylor. She greeted everyone she met with her contagious smile and never met a stranger. She attended Living Waters Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed fishing, doing yardwork, and loved going to the beach at Charleston, SC. Her greatest joy of all was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margie Rushton.
Left to cherish Vickie's memory is her children, Marie Driggers, Daisy Teal(Brad), Rebecca Cooper, and Jennifer Davis, Siblings, April Grimes and Tammy Powell, grandchildren, Dennis Davis II, Wayne Driggers, Dylan Driggers, Roy Cooper, Kaylan Stapleton, Haley Wright, Emilee Wright, Sarah Toole, Charlie Wright, Brooke Teal, Garrett Teal, Gavin Teal, Meghan Runyon, Charity Rushton, Corrine Rushton, and James Davis, great grandchildren, Zane, Brylee, Hudson, Addy, Easton, Phoebe, Graelynn, Hayden, Ava, and Spencer.
The family will greet friends on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 4 o'clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Oscar Whiteside Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Davis II, Wayne Driggers, Garrett Teal, Roy Cooper, Charlie Wright, and Gavin Teal. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Runyon, Nathan Wideman, Hunter Suratt, Anthony Davis, Ed Davis, and Rick Lovette.
