Verna Lou Cloud, age 62, of Bryant, AL, passed away on May 4th, 2023, in a local hospital. Verna was full of energy and had a charismatic personality that endeared her to many throughout her life.
Born on August 12th, 1960 to Vernon and Mary Lou Anderton Cloud, Verna lived a life full of warmth and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles Cloud. She is survived by her daughter Anna (Stuart) Brazzle, sons Vernon Ceth Kelley and James David Richard, grandchildren Emma Lou Brazzle, Makaylla Fortson, Kaitllyn Richard and Anna Richard, as well as her brother Ricky Cloud.
Verna's devotion to helping others led her to pursue a career in nursing. She dedicated her life selflessly to help anyone who needed it. She worked with many organizations throughout her lifetime to ensure that people were assisted in every possible way. Her enthusiasm and determination had a lasting impact on everyone she helped.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM ET on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with family friend Alton Brazzle officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM ET and Sunday from 12:00 PM ET until the service hour.
