Tyra Elizabeth Miller
TRENTON, SC - Ms. Tyra Elizabeth Miller, 73, entered into rest on Friday, August 14th, 2015, with her family at her side.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Maedell Durden Miller.
She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Aiken, SC and retired from the Graniteville Company. Mrs. Miller enjoyed gardening, crafts, ceramics and sewing. However, more than anything, she enjoyed babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, family members include her children, David R. Widener and his wife, Cindy, Trenton, SC, the late Shannon Widener, Deva Andrews Warren and her husband, the late Jamie, Trenton, SC and Diona Andrews Pope and her husband, Marcus, Kingston, TN; siblings, Lillian Clanton, North Augusta, SC, the late Carolyn Berrie, Edward Miller, Beech Island, SC and the late J.T. Miller, grandchildren, Brian Widener, Twana Widener, Courtney Jones, Austyn Widener, Adam Widener, Brandon Hilderbrand, Devan Peck, Amy Pope, Lindsey Galey and Haley Freed and nine great-grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Miller will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015, at 3 o'clock at Grace Church of Aiken, with Pastor Marion Britton and Dr. Steve Taylor officiating.

The family will greet friends on Sunday from 2:30 until 3 o'clock and immediately following the service at GRACE CHURCH OF AIKEN (corner of Whiskey Rd. and Talatha Church Rd.)
