Trudy Hall Obituary

Mrs. Trudy Mayson Hall, 85, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Tyrone Mayson and her baby brother, Roy Simpson Mayson.

Trudy leaves behind a legacy of love in her children: Kim Williams (Lynn) of Port Orange, Florida; Larry Griffin (the late Lori) of Florida; Lisa Rowe (Brent) of St. Cloud, Florida; and Renee Ownby of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, Ethan Williams (Leslie Nguyen), Paige McGinnis (Michael), Quentin Rowe (Shayla), Channing Pearce (Luke), Shelby Hackett (Andrew), and Victoria Ownby, and a treasured great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.

Born in Langley, South Carolina to the late Simpson Whitfield Mayson and Calma Tinsley Mayson, Trudy was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Belvedere, South Carolina. Her faith was an important part of her life and guided her with quiet strength and grace.

Trudy was known for her creativity and artistic spirit. A talented crafter and devoted gardener, she found beauty in the simple things and joy in creating with her hands. She was also a gifted dancer who never missed an opportunity to step onto the dance floor-especially when Hang On Sloopy was playing. Her love for animals and her vibrant personality made her a bright light to all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
