Treyvon Morton Obituary

Treyvon Amir Morton, was born on May 5, 2004, in Augusta, Georgia, to Catasa Hammond of Aiken, SC, and GJeveren Morton of Greenwood, SC. Man earned his high school diploma from Aiken High School in Aiken County. He received a Certificate of Completion from the Leadership Academy for Young Men, A Pre-Engineering certificate through Project Lead the Way. Treyvon was a dedicated employee at Publix and Autoneum. He left a lasting impression on those he worked with. A gentle giant with few words, He had a special way of expressing himself. His words were filled with humor, love, and deep passion for those he cared about. From a young age, he developed a strong love for cars and video games, these interests that grew with him over the years. He was a proud member of The Midnight Car Club. Treyvon is survived by his mother, Catasa Walker of Aiken, SC, and his father, GJeveren Morton of Greenwood, SC. Holding Treyvon's memory close are his beloved siblings: Sisters: Kadiyah McKee (Carson), Ashanti Morton (Macen), Naima Gilchrist, and Paris Pierce Brothers: GJeveren Morton, Antonio Taylor, Levar Gilchrist and his Bros. Aunties: Lashunda and Tiffany Walker of Aiken, SC, Tara Talbert and Shay Morton of Greenwood, SC. Uncles: Edrick Morton, Terell Mosley and Marcellous Morton of Greenwood, SC. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents: Willie Lena Walker and Thelma Steadman of Aiken, SC Albert Morton and Patsy Morton of Greenwood, SC John Hammond of Ridge Spring, SC And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who love and will miss him dearly.
