Nancy Thode Obituary

Nancy L. Thode, 70, of Harwich Port, MA and Hellertown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth C. Thode. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Beatrice Love and spent her early years with her parents and sisters in Thornwood, NY. Nancy and Ken moved several times throughout the Northeast and to Sunset Beach, NC. Southeastern Massachusetts was their true home, starting their marriage and family in Boston's south shore and returning there later in life. Nancy spent her final years in Harwich Port, MA on Cape Cod and near her family in Lehigh Valley, PA. Nancy was a kind and caring mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly and was known for her generosity with family and friends. She was an active philanthropist in the communities and with the causes about which she was passionate.

SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Keith Thode and his wife Amanda of Grapevine, TX and Kevin Thode and his wife Elaine of Center Valley, PA; sisters Sally Love of Paris, France and Betsy DuBois and her husband Steven of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Micah, Ruth, Lily, Lindsay and Jacob and many loving nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Nancy's life is being planned for early next year in Harwich Port, MA. Nancy's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
