Tony "Cheyenne" Smith
Langley - Mr. Tony B. Smith, 70, of Langley, SC, also known in the amateur radio community as "Cheyenne", entered into rest peacefully, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Langley, SC and a graduate of LBC High School, he was a son of the late Clarence and Sadie Adams Smith. He was employed in the Industrial Maintenance Field for many years. Brother Smith was a member of Horse Creek Lodge #174, A.F.M., where he was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason on October 22, 1992. He enjoyed Amateur Radio, woodworking, fishing, hunting, cooking and barbequing. Brother Smith always looked forward to the fourth Tuesday of each month for a time of fellowship with the brethren at Horse Creek.
In addition to his parents, family members include a son and his wife, Evan and Jarah Smith, Langley, SC; sisters, Audrey Duncan, Graniteville, SC and Amanda Long, North Augusta, SC and his much loved grandson, Case Smith.
Friends will be greeted by the family on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway Graniteville, SC. A graveside service with masonic rites accorded by the brethren of Horse Creek Lodge #174, will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 3 o'clock in Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC.
