Timothy "MoonPie" Charles Grace
BEAUFORT, SC - Timothy "MoonPie" Charles Grace, 70, of Beaufort, SC passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 at Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel at 1pm. Followed by inurnment at 2pm at Beaufort National Cemetery.
Timothy was born on October 13, 1946 in Dover. Delaware to Charles Grace and Bernice Blocker Grace.
An outdoor and gun enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. Tim enjoyed himself with whatever he did, and found humor in most situations, no matter how awkward. He worked as a RN traveling nurse and for Hospice. Augusta Burn Unit was one of his favorite places of employment. Tim also worked in North Carolina, and several counties in South Carolina, including Charleston, Colleton, Orangeburg, Florence, and Aiken.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Grace and Joshua Grace; four daughters, Christine Grace, Katie Grace Parler, Trisha Grace and Holly Thompson; one brother, Robert Grace and one sister, Carolyn Pridgen. Surviving children's Mother, Sally M. Grace and preceded in death by previous wife, Janie M. Grace. Current wife, Dianne, resides in Moncks Corner with her children. His companion, Katy, was with him at his last breath.
Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Tim's passing. We were in Sunday School & church together growing up and had a couple of classes together at AHS. I will always remember his wit and his beautiful voice. Please accept my condolences. My prayers are with the family.

Tim was a kind soul and witty
personality . I dated Tim about 4 months before I
met my husband, Preston. They worked together about 6months at Owens-Corning fiberglass.
