Thomas McGeary Obituary
Aiken - Mr. Thomas Leo McGeary, 78, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Thomas was born in Corona, NY, son of the late Robert Emmett, Jr. and Joyce Louise Reynolds McGeary. He served in the US Air Force, and retired from Kimberly Clark. He was an avid woodworker, and also very involved in genealogy.
He is survived by his daughters, Leigh M. (Robert) Watkins, Aiken, Heather M. (Johnny) McMichael, Aiken; grandchildren, Patrick Watkins, Thomas Watkins, and James McMichael; sisters, Frances Sampson, Hilton Head Island, Mary Jane Denny; brother, Johnny Page, Aiken; and long time friend, Judith Coleman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Watts McGeary. A visitation will be held at 12:00 noon, and the funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Millbrook Baptist Church with the Reverend Bill Howard, III officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Richards, Jason Courtney, Austin Grant, Danny Grant, Michael Hart, Gene Jones, Karl Odenthal, Rhett Johnson, Evan Page, and Neely Page. Honorary pallbearers will be retirees of Kimberly Clark.
Memorials may be directed to Tri-Development Center of Aiken, 1016 Vaucluse Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
