Thomas Ford, IV ""Tunnie" "
GLOVERVILLE - Mr. Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Ford, IV, 47, of Gloverville, SC, known by his family and many friends as "Tunnie", entered into rest on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
A lifelong area resident, he was a son of Patsy Diane Prince, Gloverville, SC and the late Thomas Jefferson Ford, III. He was a member of the former West Warrenville Baptist Church and attended Midland Valley High School. Tunnie enjoyed riding bicycles and loved digging for old bottles and arrowheads at Langley Pond.
In addition to his parents, family members include siblings, Christopher "Porky" Ford, Gloverville, SC, James Jamie "Dudey" Johnson, II, Columbia, SC, Jessica "Jecca" Spinks and her husband, Preston, White Oak, GA and Julia "Butterbean" Johnson, Tallahassee, FL; aunts, Mary "BB" Brown, North Augusta, SC and Rebecca "Boo Boo" Hodson, Gloverville, SC, cousin, Matthew Brown, nieces and nephews, Jacquelyn "Jac" Craig, James Hilton "Buddy" Johnson, III, Madison Gillespie, Ethan Spinks, Patrick Van Buren, Natalie Johnson, Chloe Van Buren, Jewels Garrett, Hayden Spinks and Jazmine Craig, great-nephew, Braxton Bogdansky, as well as several other cousins, aunts and uncles. In addition to his dad, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, T.J. and Louise Ford and Charlsie and Rufus Prince.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 5 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:30 on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Terry Harris, Todd Baker, Rusty Craig, Bono Garcia, Chris Van Buren and Matthew Brown. Nieces and nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
