Tommy was much a part of my life as we grew up together. I spent many an enjoyable time with Tommy at the family farm in Martinez. Tommy taught me how to drive in the stores old Chevy pickup an Tommy's father, William Frierson Burton, was my Godfather. We also spent many an enjoyable night of square dancing when we were adults. Ronnie Howard let me know of Tommy's passing as we don't get much info on Augusta here in Munford. I will always cherish the memories of the times we had fishing, hunting, and just being friends. Tommy was a hail fellow well met and everyone who knew him will miss him.
