AIKEN - Thelma P. Priester of Aiken, SC died after a short illness in her adopted hometown. A dedicated professional who spent her career with Delta Airlines. Thelma loved to tell stories about her adventures with her coworkers after hours. She was known for her fiery spirit and love of animals.
Throughout her life, Thelma found joy in the companionship of her many beloved dogs, who were constant sources of happiness and comfort. Her devotion to animals extended beyond her own pets, as evidenced by her family's wish for memorial contributions to be directed to Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS), 333 Wire Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
She is survived by her loving family members, Ray and Kathy Beck who will cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion and dear friends Troy (Jessica) Overstreet, Lisa Levy and her husband Mike Wells and Ed (Renee) Girardeau.
Graveside funeral services will be held at two o'clock p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in the Neeses Cemetery, 471 Henry Rd., Neeses, SC 29107.
