Tanisha Hinson Obituary

On the clear and hottest day Monday, July 19, 1993, Mr. Lee T Hinson and Ms. Sheila Toole - Hinson welcomed the arrival of their daughter into this earthly realm. On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Aiken Regional Hospital, Aiken SC, TANISHA TWONDA HINSON, answered the call to return home to be with her Heavenly Father. She graduated from Aiken High School and Aiken Technical College with Associate in Applied Science- Major in Criminal Justice and Cheerleader Coach for North Side Bears. Tanisha's (Tan) parents raised her in fear and admonition of the Lord. She was baptized at an early age at Ashley Grove Baptist Church, Aiken SC, where she served on the Youth Choir. Her favorite hobbies include spending time with her daughters and family, cooking on the grill, and dance. Two grandmother, Willean G. Pontoon, Christine Hinson, and one grandfather Lee Thomas Hinson, Sr., preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother of two children: Zhiakara Hinson and Zayla Hinson-Young of North Augusta SC; one brother, Jamar Gordon of Aiken, SC; one grandfather, Henry (Richard Dean) Toole, Sr of Aiken, SC; one devoted grandmother, Berrye Hinson of Kingstree, SC; one uncle, Antonio Hinson of Kingstree, SC; three aunties, Angela Lloya, Shenna Toole, and Stacy Toole, all from Aiken, SC; special people, Jessie Jones of Aiken, SC; and special friend, Justin Young of North Augusta, SC; and a host of niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
