Tallulah Kern Trimmier
North Augusta - Tallulah Kern Trimmier, 89, of North Augusta, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 17, 2020. She was born Tallulah Udell Flemister in Jackson, Mississippi on October 21, 1931, one of five children. She is preceded into death by her parents, James Bryan Flemister and Audrey Lewis Flemister; her sisters, Jean McElfresh, Sarah Metz, Birdie Farmer; her beloved husbands, Irwin Frank Kern, Jr. and Sidney Marston Trimmier; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Fay Braswell.
Tallulah was raised in Mansville, Georgia, McRae, Georgia and North Augusta, South Carolina. She also lived in Augusta, Georgia and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina before returning to North Augusta, South Carolina in 2005. She was a devoted member at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Augusta, Georgia.
Tallulah most enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends, hosting social gatherings, relaxing on the beach, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
She is survived by her daughter, Madeline Stewart Braswell; her granddaughter, Audra Braswell Bleecker (Evan); and her great-grandsons, Penn Morris Bleecker (11) and Levi Wilkes Bleecker (8), and her brother James Byran Flemister, Jr.
Due to Covid-19, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
