Sylvia was one of God's great warriors! I met her in 1974 when we both taught at Burnettown Elem. She was a great teacher, super mom, loving sister, and outstanding friend! When I had a problem, I would call her and her sister, Jeanette and we would pray together. Both of them were God's prayer warriors and I don't know where I would be today without their help and prayers. You are not forgotten, Sylvia! Your work and your God lives on through all of us who knew you! Thank you for all that you have given us! Love you! Dawn

To Jeanette and Sylvia's families,
I am still shocked (as I'm sure you are) that Sylvia is gone! She was a super teacher, wonderful friend, devoted wife and mother, and one of my 2 prayer warriors...Jeanette being the other. I have been praying for all of you several times a day since she has joined Our Father in Heaven. Thank you, Sylvia for being there for all of us!!! Love you, Dawn Davidson Hodges Wilson
