Sylvester Gifford Obituary
NEW ELLENTON, SC - Mr. Sylvester Gifford, Jr., age 62, of 523 East Pine Street passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at GRU Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church (Viewing 11 AM- 12 PM) with Pastor Bruce Wright, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He was the son of Angeline C. Gifford and the late Sylvester Gifford, Jr.
Sylvester was a 1972 graduate of Aiken High School and had been employed by Seminole Mill, Savannah River Plant, and Aiken Regional Medical Center.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving daughter, Adrenea Michelle Stallings, his mother, Angeline C. Gifford, and sisters, Willie Mae Gaines, all of New Ellenton, SC, and Joyce Pilot (Ray), Columbus, GA; brothers, Calvin Gifford, Charleston, SC and Thomas (Deidre) Gifford, Murphy, TX; other relatives.
Friends may call the residence or JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 606 MAIN ST, NEW ELLENTON, SC beginning 4 PM Friday.
