I work for Bruce Hovey at Northwestern and had helped Steve on many occasions when he would need assistance in our office. He was always so friendly and full of life. He will truly be missed by us!
His family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
God Bless.

Really liked Steve , loved how he cared for his mother , I have worked with him for long time , he would ask for advice sometimes about plumbing issues that he found while operating his contracting business , he was a honest fellow. I'll miss him .

I´ve known Steve for 30 years. We worked together at Curtis 1000. There are a hundred stories I could tell but one of my favorites is the time I was working with Steve and it happened to be my birthday. At the end of the day he said, "Let´s run by the airport. I want you to Meet my flight instructor. " we got there and Steve introduced me to "Sven" and said he had to go call a Client. Sven and I went out to look at the plane Steve was training on and before I knew it we were in the air and I was the PILOt! What an adrenaline rush! When we landed I could Hardly walk my knees were so weak! This story typifies Steve! How caring. How unique. What a friend. Love him and have seeing him these past years. He will Live forever in My Memory! God Speed

Dear Steve, how you will be missed! From "choppers", camping in Gablingen, motocross, and drag racing just for starts. To a true "Super-Hero" one of the original mud-monsters from Splinter Village, who loved nothing more than launching himself 30 feet through the air on a dirt bike. You were a great friend and a brother to me. I will never forget you. May the good Lord Jesus Christ hold you in his arms and your family for eternity. Till we meet again...
Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
