Stephen Johnson Obituary

Cadley, GA-Mr. Stephen Edgar Johnson, 53, entered into rest September 12, 2025. A visitation in his honor will be held this Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at Posey Funeral Directors. Mr. Johnson was a native of North Augusta, SC, a former resident of Augusta, having made Warren County his home for the past 7 years. He was a member of New Hope Worship Center and was a talented automotive painter and designer who loved working with his son at Phillips Customs & Repair. Mr. Johnson enjoyed being on the lake, fishing and spending time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren. He was especially excited for imminent birth of his newest granddaughter, Stevie Johnson. Mr. Johnson also cared greatly for his dogs Drake and Bully. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia "Patsy" Johnson. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Brandy Johnson; a daughter, Lauren (Clay) Pritchard; a son, Phillips (Lakelynn) Johnson; his father, Frank (Elinor) Johnson; a sister, Kerri (Ben) Stephenson; two grandchildren, Landon Pritchard and Charlie Pritchard; three nephews, Bennett Stephenson, KJ Stephenson and Bowen Stephenson; an uncle, Randy Thrift.
