Stephanie Thomas-Tyson Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Stephanie A. Thomas-Tyson who entered into rest June 10, 2025. Mrs.Thomas-Tyson was a 1977 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She worked for Fairview Early Childhood Center. She was baptized at Poplar Spring Baptist Church. She attended Divine Deliverance Church. Survivors include her husband, Luther W. Tyson; a brother, Kevin Thomas; one uncle, John L. Griffin; two aunts, Mary Sargent and Nancy Griffin; one great aunt, Roberta Buggs; A devoted friend, Ernestine (Frankie) Newsome; a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial service will be held at 12 noon Friday, June 20, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jonas Walker officiating. Professional Care has been entrusted to G. L.
