Sharon McGuire Obituary
Aiken - Sharon Elaine McGuire (Abel), 68, beloved wife of James Patrick McGuire, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully Thursday, October 28, 2021, at her residence.
Originally from Ohio, Sharon had been a resident of Cedar Creek since 2011. Sharon received her Bachelors in Accounting from Ohio University, MBA from the University of Akron, and attained her CPA in 1993. She retired from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions in 2018. Sharon is survived by her husband Jim and his daughters Kelly Carlson (Barry) and Tracy Finnefrock (Brian) and grandchildren Benjamin, Andrew, and Michael Carlson. In addition, Sharon is survived by her mother, Marian Abel, aunt Audrey Kapelewski, brother Mike Abel (Becky), and nephew and niece Duane Abel (Coral), and Amanda Abel Haun. Many cousins, relatives, and friends carry her spirit forward.
A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
