Sarah Kuzmeskus Obituary
Mt. Pleasant - On April 15, 2021 Sarah Lynn Kuzmeskus passed away from brain cancer. She fought a brave and courageous battle.
Sarah is the daughter of David and Beverly Kuzmeskus. She leaves a brother Eric Kuzmeskus (Julia) and a precious niece Ellie Jane Kuzmeskus. She also leaves a soul partner David Harmon and many Aunts and Uncles, cousins. In addition, she leaves a special dog named Maddie, who stayed by Sarah's side throughout her life.
Sarah graduated from University of South Carolina (Aiken) with a B.S. Degree in Industrial Mathematics. She also received her masters degree in Nursing from Phoenix University magna cum laude. She was a RN for 15 years and worked in Med Surg, Rehabilitation, and neurology. Sarah enjoyed the beach, traveling with Dave, fishing, playing with Maddie, her niece Ellie and the outdoors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Cancer Society. McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, Newberry, SC is in charge of arrangements.
Graveside service will be 11 am on April 24th at Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry. Funeral Service will be held at old St Marys in Aiken on April 30th at 11 am.

I am devastated at hearing of Sarah´s passing. We were nurses together at Roger C. Peace/Subacute. She was so sweet and caring! May the love and peace of God fully surround her family now and always.

I had some college classes with Sarah a very long time ago. We became instant friends, despite an age difference of 10 years. We had a lot in common. We adored animals , shared the same sense of humor. I can still see her with her long hair and warm smile. Sarah was so amazingly intelligent. Through the years I would think of her and wonder how she was doing. So yesterday Sarah was heavy on my mind. That's when I saw the announcement. I felt so heartbroken. Even though I knew her such a short time. I never forgot her. Life leads us in different directions. Sarah will always be remembered by me. I am thinking of her sweet family. Prayers and love are being sent during this time. Sarah was precious.
