Sara Greene Obituary
EDGEFIELD, SC - Mrs. Sara Bryan Greene, 82, of Edgefield, wife of the late Rev. Marion Greene, went home to be with her Lord, at her residence, on March 4, 2015 with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held Friday March 6, 2015 at 3 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home with a private burial at a later time.
Mrs. Bryan was the daughter of the late Cecil B. "Jake" Bryan, Sr. and the late Mattie Ruth Ransom. She was a native of Edgefield, S.C. and was a retired Secretary at S.R.S.
Survivors include a brother- Alvin B. (Peggy) Bryan; sister- Ginny B. Gilchrist; sister-in-law- Margaret Bryan; 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers- William Pickens Bryan, Cecil B. Bryan, Robert P. Bryan, and a sister- Catherine R. Bryan.
Memorials may be made to Little Stevens Creek Cemetery Fund, 1067 Hwy 430 Edgefield, S.C. 29824.
Special Thanks and Love to Essie, Debra, Mary Frances, and Lynette for all their love, compassion, and care for Sara, and thanks to the staff of Hospice Care of South Carolina for the care and support.
The family is at the home on Columbia Road and will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. before the service at the Funeral Home.
