Sara Boland Obituary
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Private Graveside Services for Mrs. Sara Schmaltz Boland, 92, of Marion Avenue, North Augusta, SC, who peacefully passed away surrounded by her family, will be conducted Wednesday in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Boland was a life-long resident of North Augusta and a communicant of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, S. Anton Schmaltz, a daughter, Florence S. Barrett and a son, Tony Schmaltz.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Mary Ann (Martin) Couvillon and
Andrew (Stacie) Barrett all of North Augusta, Louise (Travis) Murray, Aiken, Sara (Jeff) Mitchell, Louisburg, North Carolina, Gerald (Danielle) Barrett, Edgefield and Katie (Sean) Burkette, Warrenville; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 6 until 8.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, Georgia 30909.

I met Sara in the early 70's, we both worked at Phoenix Oil Company. She was a wonderful lady, always had a smile for everyone and will be greatly missed.
