Sandra Ready Obituary

Sandra Kay Ready, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her home in Waterloo, South Carolina. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Hatcher Funeral Home, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, South Carolina 29829. A graveside service will begin at 2 o'clock on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Warrenville Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Warrenville, South Carolina 29851 with Pastor William Booker officiating. Sandra is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Daniel Bruce Ready. She leaves behind her daughter, Angelique Kay Guthrie, and son-in-law, Jason, who brought immense joy to her life. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, David Crouch (Bailey), Crystal Guthrie, Noah Farmer, and Brayden Farmer. Sandra is also survived by her siblings, Leland M. Rodgers and Wanda S. Boatwright, along with their families, who shared countless memories and moments of joy; her special niece, Karen Cato, special nephew Michael Dickerson, and special cousin, Freddie Bell. Sandra's family extended beyond blood, as she embraced her adopted family: Teadufo, Yolanda, Eduardo and family, Joselyn and family, Michelle, Juan, and Jesus;As well as her very special friends, Colleen Timmerman and Gale Collins. Sandra was preceded in death by parents, Birdie Estelle Rodgers and Alvin Rodgers. Sandra had a passion for bird watching, especially hummingbirds and cardinals, which brought her peace and joy. She was a crocheter, creating beautiful pieces. Sandra enjoyed watching "Daniel Boone" and reading the works of Louis L'Amour. In her younger years, she also enjoyed fishing.
