Sandra Powers Obituary

Mrs. Sandra Hall Powers, 86, a lifelong resident of North Augusta, SC, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11th, 2025, at her residence. Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 57 years, Mr. George "Jack" Powers, and her parents Christine and DeForest Hall. Left to cherish her memory are her children Vicki Hook, Teresa Surrett (Rodney), Stephanie Allen (Philip), and Christopher Powers (Traci); her grandchildren Joshua Smith (Brandi), Nicholas Proctor (Renee), Reagan Vann (Carey), Jade Surrett, and Halle Key; and her great-grandchildren Allee Smith, Aubree Smith, Addilynn Key, and Bentley Key. Sandra also leaves behind a special family friend, Lauren Jiminez, who spent countless hours with her, providing her company and care. Devoted to her role as a homemaker, Sandra's greatest joy was her family. She created countless cherished memories, from treasured trips to Edisto Beach to family gatherings at home. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, she was always ready to entertain with her storytelling and enjoyed a good game of Scrabble. Sandra was the matriarch of her family, constantly putting others' needs above her own. Sandra absolutely loved all of her neighbors in her community as well. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Mrs. Sandra, please visit our floral store.
