Sally Delaney Obituary
AIKEN - SALLY SHIFLETT DELANEY, 50, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
A native of Hephzibah, GA, Sally was the daughter of Claudette Antwine and the late Terry Shiflett. She was a graduate of Aiken Technical College and was ICU Cardiac Nurse for 29 years in hospitals across the CSRA. She was a member of Dixie Thunder ABATE of Aiken County.
Survivors include her fiance;, Mikey Dernetz; daughters, Brittany Thigpen (Daniel Still), Kayla Thigpen; grandchildren, Spencer Thigpen and Raylan Still, all of Aiken and her mother Claudette Antwine, Augusta.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, September 23rd from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. No formal funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Lupus Foundation of America (www.lupus.org) or to the Oral Cancer Foundation (www.oralcancerfoundation.org) .

Sally was a beautiful person. Never heard her say a bad word to anyone. She took on the world and with her ailments for the last few years, never complained. I pray that there is such a thing as reincarnation because her work on this earth is not complete! Sally's pretty smile, determination and fortitude made us all love her! Sally's presence made all smile. Her attitude made all envious! Everybody has their calling, but I believe the good Lord took this child too soon! I understand that Sally is now pain free and looking upon Mike and her babies, but I think she got called home too soon!
