Resident of Clayton
Ruth passed away last Saturday in Walnut Creek at the age of 84 years. She was a long time resident of Clayton where she had worked as the City Clerk for 17 years. Preceded in death by her son James Wendell Scott (1997). She is lovingly survived by her husband of 61 years; Frank James Scott of Clayton; children Sandi (Imre) Lendvay of Danville, Karen (Kevin) Crane of Antioch and Robert Scott of Vacaville; grandchildren Shawn Crane of Antioch, Jennifer Farrell of North Carolina, Kristin Green of Florida, Matthew Lendvay of Long Beach, Rebecca Crane of San Ramon and Jamey Lendvay of Danville; great grandchildren Noah and Piper Farrell of North Carolina; brothers Phillip Forney of Paradise and Stephen Forney of St. Louis; sister Barbara Galloway of Idaho. Private family services will be held.
