Ruth McGraw Obituary
AIKEN - Ruth Dale McGraw, age 80, entered into rest Sunday, September 16, 2018.
Mrs. McGraw was born May 2, 1938 in Aiken County, SC to the late Milledge and Essie Huff. She was a life-long area resident and worked as a nurse; a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Mrs. McGraw was one of the original employees at Cumberland Village and worked well into her 70's. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wayne McGraw. She is survived by two daughters, Vickie McClain (Gerald), Jackson, SC and Lesa Brooks (Mike), Aiken, SC; five grandchildren, April Brown (Mike), Michael Brooks (Maria), Tammy Brown, Jonathon Brooks (Shea), and Duran McClain (Becky); and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at George Funeral Home in downtown Aiken, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Albrect Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Rd., Aiken, SC 29801 or Meals on Wheels c/o Aiken Senior Life Services, P.O. Box 3156, Aiken, SC 29802.
The Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave., Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234), has charge of arrangements.

I was so sad to hear of your mom's passing. I have a lot of sweet memories of spending time with both Memaw & Papa. Y'all will all be in my prayers.

Vickie and family - I can't begin to express how much Ms. Ruth meant to me and my family. My boys Nick & Kyle loved her & cut her grass for years & we'd argue over her paying my boys too much. We worked together for 10 years & when you worked with her we always shared some kind of chicken McNuggets and snacks. I loved taking her shopping or going to dinner. She was such a great friend. She will always be in my thoughts and my heart & I will miss you Ms. Ruth
