JAN 14
I cannot believe that a year has passed since you have been taken from us. I miss you very much dad and was distraught that I was not with you when you passed away. All the sadness you experienced in the nursing home is over and you can finally rest in peace . The graveside ceremony last May was very comforting and honored your proud military service.
You are always in my thoughts and I wish I could hear your kind voice always wishing me well. i LOVE YOU.

All my memories of my Grandpa are good ones and I'm really glad he was around as long as he was. You will be missed for a long time by many.

Judith, I know how devoted you were to your father and how important he was to you. You have talked about him so often to me that I feel I know him. He was as fortunate to have you as a daughter as you were to have him as a father. Shirley Pearl

Like Sue Hansen, I first met Tom those many, many years ago when he came out to California to visit Jan and his granddaughters. He was truly one of the finest men I have ever met. My heart goes out to his family at this sorrowful time, but I know he is finally at peace. My deepest condolences.....

Tommy, dear, your presence is still in the house, and will be for some time, I hope. I was so sick with a virus the last 2 weeks of your life the "home" told me to stay away. I deeply apologize but I am very happy your daughter, Judy, took over my place next to your bed. The last time I saw you was January 5, thank heaven! I'll see you soon, and love you forever. Your wife, Georgia

We first met Tom when he came out to California to visit with his daughter Jan and her children Donna and Barbara. And then he took the time to come to the airport in St. Paul when we were traveling through Mn., to visit with us. He was a kind and wonderful man and we enjoyed our visits with him immensely. It was an honor to be considered his friend. He will be missed.
