JACKSON, SC - Mrs. Ruby Enoree Padgett Wood Hamlet Steele, 70, wife of the late Brady Steele, entered into rest on Friday, September 5th, 2014.
Born in Neeses, SC and a lifelong resident of Aiken County SC, she was a daughter of the late Otis Padgett and the late Lou Wortha Elizabeth Wood Padgett Garrett. She was a former employee of Bath Mill and Clearwater Finishing Plant.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include a daughter, Barbara Terwilliger, Jackson, SC; siblings, Olin Lamar Padgett, Neeses, SC, Estell Padgett, North, SC, Ronnie (Brenda) Padgett, Neeses, SC, Lisha Padgett (Elijah) Odom, Denmark, SC and Brenda Padgett Stabler, St. Matthews, SC; grandchildren, Melissa Martin, Dana Dozier, James Wood, Jr., Samantha Shealy, Nicole Smith and Tabitha Wood and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
