Ruby Morgan Obituary

Ruby Carol Morgan
AIKEN - Ruby Carol McCoy Morgan, 74, wife of Jimmie E. Morgan, of Aiken, passed away December 8, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Born November 14, 1944 in Chanute, Kansas, she is the daughter of the late Fred McCoy and Ostie Booe McCoy.
Ruby attended and graduated from Kansas State Teaching College. She later went on to work for Home Savings and Loan in California as their Vice President. She met and married Jimmie Morgan in February of 1985 and they moved to the Aiken area in 1997. They became members of Woodside Plantation Country Club, where her love of golf continued.
In her spare time, Ruby enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband. They have traveled all over the world but their favorite place is Maui, Hawaii.
Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years; her step-daughter, Paula Christian, Acworth, GA; her sister, Anita White; her four brothers, all of Erie, Kansas; and several cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Ruby's memory to The American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210, www.cancer.org.
The Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 has charge of arrangements.
