Roy Keller Obituary

Roy Keller
MCCORMICK - Roy Robert Keller, 79, husband of Barbara Jordan Keller, resident of Little River Drive, died Monday, January 29, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born September 24, 1938 in Brady, TX to the late Robert Grady Keller and Rita Faye Robertson Wilcox, he was raised by his true dad John Wilcox. Roy moved to Aiken SC at the age of 10 and graduated from Aiken High School. He joined the United States Air Force and faithfully served for 12 1/2 years during the Vietnam Conflict as a jet mechanic. He retired from Delta Airlines.
Roy was born in Texas but was a true South Carolinian. He was a car enthusiast with a special love for Buick's. He attended McCormick First Baptist Church and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
Surviving other than his loving wife of the home are his son Joseph Garland Keller and wife Jill of Griffin GA; his grandchildren, Lacey Keller, Garland Keller and wife Rebecca, Decater Keller and wife Julie; his great grandchildren, Cypress Jo and Weston Keller; his sister-in-law's, Mary Jordan McMillan and husband Tom, and Debra Jordan Cormany and husband Hank; his nephews, Soren McMillan, Tiernan McMillian and wife Lauren, and Patrick Cormany; his niece, Hope Cormany. He was predeceased by a son, John Robert Keller.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 3rd at 1:00 PM from Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Allen and Soren McMillan officiating. Burial will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens in Aiken SC with Military Honors.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
