Rosa Carter Obituary

G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Rosa Lee Carter who entered into rest October 18, 2025. Mrs. Carter, a native of Aiken County, was a 1961 graduate of Jefferson High School. She worked in the Textile Industry as a Cloth Machine Operator at Seminole Mill. She was a member of Hazel Grove Baptist Church where she served on the Pastor's Support Ministry, Food Bank Ministry and the Senior Choir Ministry. Survivors include a son, Rodney (Carole Lynn) Geter of Aiken, SC; a daughter, Teresa (Edward) Palmore of Hephzibah, GA; a brother, George (Mary Jane) Edwards of Williston, SC; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a devoted cousin, Helen McKie of North Augusta, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Hazel Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Ingram, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home. Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
