Roger Robbins Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Roger Dale Robbins, 63, beloved husband of Gina M. Robbins, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Augusta, GA, Roger was a son of the late Charles P. and Annie Lee Gantt Robbins. He worked at the Savannah River Site for 38 years and had lived in Aiken for the last 29 years. He loved his family and friends and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Roger enjoyed golfing, car shows and road trips with friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Gina, include two sons, Mark Robbins, North Augusta, Travis Day, Aiken; a daughter, Misty Moffitt (Matt), Monterey, CA; three grandchildren, Josh Robbins, Jessica Robbins, Brianna Boone; a great-granddaughter, Ali Robbins; a brother, Terry Robbins, Augusta; a sister, Myra Josey (David), Augusta, and a niece, Lauren Galavotti (Adam).
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University (www.augusta.edu).

Gina,Misty and Travis I know you are hurting as well as the rest of your family. I am so sorry. Roger was always the life of every party. He loved Amber and my grand babies. Not to mention he could never have loved his "Misty" and Gina and more than he did! And Trav you are definitely the man he knew you were going to be, he loved you so much. And Brianna you were definitely a big part of his heart he thought the world of you you could see it in his eyes. Roger he will be greatly missed. I love you ! rest in peace.
