Rogelio Duarte Obituary

Rogelio Duarte, 69, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather entered into the glory of his eternal life on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at Monte Siesta Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas.

A native of Brownsville, Mr. Duarte moved to Leander, Texas four years ago. Mr. Duarte worked for 28 years at Levi Strauss. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, remodeling his home, spending time with his family, and volunteering at his church. Mr. Duarte was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known him.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him are his wife of 44 years, Trinidad B. Duarte; his children: Rogelio Duarte Jr., Jessica Ann Duarte, and Rolando Duarte; and the two grandsons that were his pride and joy, Royce and Ryan Dante Duarte.

Visitation and a prayer service were held yesterday at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The procession to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens for an 11 a.m. graveside service will depart at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd., (956) 546-7111.

Sometimes god isn't fair and takes the ones you mostly love from you, but he saw you suffering and in pain and decided to take you into his care, so for now we shall be guided by you through the right directions under your wing. I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU till death. Until we meet again...... :.(
