Rodney Still
GRANITEVILLE, SC - Mr. Rodney Still, 74, of Graniteville, SC, beloved husband of forty-two years to Mrs. Helen Christmas Still, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
Born in Walterboro, SC and a resident of Aiken County, SC, for the past forty-four years, he as a son of the late Ryan Victor and Pearl Bernice Lane Still. He was a dedicated member of Lakeside Baptist Church, retired as Director of Accounting from PBT Communications and also did accounting and tax work from his home. He was a member of the Mended Hearts Chapter #249 and was Co-Executive Director of the Miss Aiken and Edgefield County Scholarship Pageants. Mr. Still enjoyed NASCAR, reading and traveling. More than anything however, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his children, Derik Still and his wife, Jennifer, North Augusta, SC, Rachael Grant and her husband, Randy, Grovetown, GA and Michael J. Still and his wife, Kimberly, Varnville, SC; siblings, Ryan L. Still and his wife, Norma, Walterboro, SC, Janice Wallace and her husband, Bobby, Marion, SC, Peggy Aimes and her husband, Tom, Wilmington, NC and the late Rudy Still, grandchildren, Megyn Still, Whitney Grant, Brandon Grant, Logan Still, Nathan Still, Brylie Still and MacKenna Still and let us not forget his four-legged babies, Spike and Lucy.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, 2017, from 5 until 8 o'clock at Lakeside Baptist Church, Clearwater, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, at 1 o'clock at the church. Pastors Tad Marshall and John Christmas will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Tony Welch, Davy Christmas, John Carpenter, Tyler Spence, Steve Adams and Tommy Garvin.
If so desired, memorials may be made to the building fund at Lakeside Baptist Church. (www.besidethelake.com)

So sorry to hear of Rodney's death. I met Rodney at the Wellness Center in 2001. He had just had a heart procedure and so had I. We would go in the mornings and work out. He was such a nice person. Prayers for the family.
