Robert Webster Obituary

Robert Dale "Bob" Webster, 83, passed away on February 18, 2025, in The Villages, Florida.
Bob was born on July 25, 1941, in Faribault, Minnesota. He grew up in Minnesota and attended Pine Island High School. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, specializing in aviation electronics and flight communications, he settled in California with his first wife Rosemary, where they started a family and he built a successful career as a Data Specialist in the Defense Industry. His work at Hughes Aircraft took him across the globe, allowing him to live and work in both South Korea and Saudi Arabia. It was during his time in Saudi Arabia that Bob met Amalia "Amy", and they fell in love. In 1999, they married and moved to The Villages, where he embraced retirement with enthusiasm.
An avid golfer, Bob found great joy on the greens and cherished the friendships he formed within his community. Whether playing a round of golf or socializing with friends and neighbors, he made the most of his retirement years.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Amy; sons Todd (Heide) of Vista, California; Scott of Bonsall, California; and Mark (Heather) of Murrieta, California; as well as his grandchildren Victoria, Trevor, and Brody. He is also survived by his sisters Jean Miller of Rochester, Minnesota, and Dorothy Kulseth of Red Wing, Minnesota; and his sister-in-law Shirley Webster of Rollingstone, Minnesota. He was predeceased by his brother Lewis "Fritz" Webster.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 1008 Bichara Boulevard, The Villages, Florida 32159. A Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 7081 Southeast Highway 42, Summerfield, Florida 34491.
