Robert Scott Obituary

Robert Grady Scott, Jr.
LANGLEY, S.C. - Mr. Robert Grady Scott, Jr., age 72 of Langley, S.C., loving husband for 52 years to Maudeen "Dink" Dyar Scott, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 4, 2014.
Grady was one of four children of Roland and Ruby Lee Beck. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kirby Scott and his wife Michele and David Scott and his wife Aimee; a brother, Ronell Scott; a sister, Helen Beck; grandchildren, Hunter Scott, Garrett Scott, Gage Scott and Reagan Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roland Beck.
Grady was an active member of Gloverville Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He worked at Bath Mill for 25 plus years, and then retired from Westinghouse (SRS) as an E & I Mechanic in S-Area.
Grady was an avid outdoorsman, and he loved to fish and camp at Clarks Hill Lake. He loved his God, church, family, friends and lived his life to the fullest. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 72 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however, death is not the end for the Christian, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Saturday evening, September 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Family and friends may also call at his son's (Kirby) residence in Clear-water, S.C.
A service, celebrating his life and home going will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ritchie Enlow officiating. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery in Langley, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Daryl Cain, Jerry and Gerald Storey, Charles Toole, Wyman Holley and Malcom Sterling. Memorials may be made to the Alzeheimers Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd., Suite 100, West Columbia, S.C. 29169.
