Robert Mims Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Robert L. Mims who entered into rest July 7, 2025. Mr. Mims attended Schofield High School from 1953-1956 and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1957. He was a retired Truck Driver for Kimberly -Clark Corporation. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Mims Grove Baptist Church where he served on the Deacons Ministry and Sunday School Superintendent. Survivors include his devoted wife, Annie L. Robinson Mims; a daughter, Rhonda R. Mims; a sister, Leola Mims; granddaughter, Ansley Gabrielle Simpson; one aunt, Essie W. Turner; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 11, 2025 at Mims Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Professional Care has been entrusted to G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
