Robert A. Johnson
Robert A. Johnson, age 88, of Erie, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born in Erie on November 17, 1936, son of the late Oscar and Martha Johnson.
Bob was a veteran of the US Army and worked as a laborer in the construction field prior to his retirement. He was very active at St. Joseph/Bread of Life R.C. Church. Bob was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music. He also loved doing home projects and was a great wood worker. Bob had a great sense of humor and was very dedicated to his family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Trish Johnson; six children, Mark, Chris, Darcie, Robert Jr., Leah and Molly Johnson; brother, Jeff Kephart (Venetia); a dear family friend, Joseph Linden; and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ann Pound, Barb Learn, Judy Hayes and Lois Cole; and brothers, Don and Tom Johnson and Roger Kephart.
Friends will be received at St. Joseph/Bread of Life R.C. Church, 147 West 24th Street, on Tuesday, March 4th, from 9:30 am until the time of the Memorial Mass there at 10:30 am. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
