As the holiday season is upon us, I know well how difficult the first one without your loved one can be. I am thinking of you ALL. Lynn, I think of you every single day. Love, Terri

To ALL of Mr. Baker's loving and beloved family, I send you peace with love on a prayer that stays whispered through the winds of eternity--eternity he is now spending with his Father in Heaven, his family who went before him and those who will undoubtedly join them later, for he was a Godly man with a Godly wife, an elect woman who raised her daughter and sons to be loving people and love Jesus. Oh Lynn, I only just this minute found out. It is October 23, Sun. evening, just before 7pm. I so loved our last good talk and remember you getting off the phone in a hurry because Hospice was calling about your Dad. Don't you just know in your heart that the good folks of our growing up in the First Presbyterian Church together and later, branching into the sister-church of South Aiken Presbyterian-and all the PTA meetings, Halloween Carnivals down in that big "hole" of a place, the neighborhood we grew up in, the bus we rode, the trikes and bikes we whizzed through the neighborhoods in, the beautiful Hitchcock Woods we got to have as practically a back yard- don't you think all those good and fine souls we were so fortunate to have known, been taught by, watched us doing all those things and training us up in the way we would go-have found each other in God's glorious Heaven? I do! I really do. Think of our two "Bob's" smiling and greeting each other, as though in the Narthex and making everyone feel completely welcome! How they must've been welcomed in Heaven!! I can almost see it-yet it does bring tears to my eyes, because although we know how long they lived and worked towards a good life and how much they served the Lord and how ready to go they were, we are their daughters-and their sons and grandchildren and we are human beings and we mourn them, grieve them and feel their absence. And yet, I have found that there is still a voice in my head that sounds and says just what Daddy would say-and I can see his eyes when he says it. And I can feel myself brushing my own daughter's hair and know that she is in my heart and that I will be with her-with them and you, too, can be purely and distinctly assured that we will find each other there one day, too, my dear friend. Hello to Bobby-it has been a long time. There are so many of you-the offspring. I pray that each one of you, whether I have or ever will meet you, knows now that this good man was in many people's lives and although he outlived many, his works, his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews are here to carry on-and you will. How could you not? You were related to Bob and Fern. Amen. With much love, Terri Spencer-Williams

Bob was a great man. He taught me a lot about 232-H when i was in tritium. He was always gracious and a devoted husband to Fern. May he rest in peace.

An incredible family of faith. Bob was the cornerstone of so much kindness at SAPC. May your memories of this wonderful man carry you in the days to come. What a blessing he has left to all who knew him.....
