Richard J. Pritchard
AIKEN - Patrick Joseph Pritchard, 77, beloved husband of Christy Pritchard, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones on Saturday, July 5th, 2025.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Christy Brown Pritchard, two children, Nicholas Pritchard (Jourdan), Aiken SC, Lindsay Blake (Zachary) Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Jude Mallach, and River Pritchard.
Born in Chicago, Il, Patrick was the son of the late Frank and Babe Pritchard.
He graduated from Syracuse with a degree in marketing. Pat moved to Aiken in 1989, where he was the International Sourcing Manager for Hubbell/Ohio Brass which allowed him to travel the world which he loved deeply.
He also loved golfing, fishing, music, concerts, relaxing at Edisto beach, and spending time with his family. Patrick never met a stranger and made friends with everyone he met.
The family will receive friends Friday July 11, 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org).
