Death for Richard is not the end, as he has just made that great transition to his new Heavenly home with no more sickness, and all is joy and peace in a land of endless tomorrows.
A service, celebrating his life will be held at the Graniteville First Baptist Church on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Todd Sessions, Rev. Rod Elliott and Todd Brantley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Lee and Buddy Friday, Charles Hilton, Larry Harris, Ken Harris, Robbie Smith, Dale Sharp and Keith Barton. Chandler and Justin Sharp will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Pat, Stacy and Wes my heart goes out to you during this most difficult time. Richard was truly one of a kind and how bless you are to have been able to call him your "husband" and your "father". He enjoyed life to its fullest but nothing can compare to his life now. Life's greatest reward and joy is knowing that when our love one leaves their temporary home here on earth, they are forever in the presence of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that you will draw strength in knowing he is Home. He will, however, always continue to live in our hearts and memories. May the Lord bless you akways.
