AIKEN, SC - Regina Bell "Jean" Peterson, widow of James A. "Jim" Peterson, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Trinity on Laurens.
Born in Detroit, MI, Jean was a daughter of the late William J. and Marguerite Hoy Bell. She was a native of Port Carbon, PA and had made Aiken her home for many years. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth (Paul) Sauerborn, Aiken; a son, James Andrew (Deborah) Peterson, Jr., West Columbia; three grandchildren, GySgt Andrew Thayer (Renee) Peterson, USMC, San Diego, CA,
Elizabeth Ann (Andy) Sauerborn Colombo, Pittsford, NY, Adam Conrad (Brittany) Sauerborn, Rochester, NY; five great-grandchildren; a brother, William D. (Anita) Bell, Gettysburg, PA.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning, January 28th, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
