Regina Freeman Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Regina Cook Freeman who entered into rest May 15, 2025.
Mrs. Freeman, a native of Richmond County, was a 1976 graduate of T. W. Josey High School. She was a Teller for Wells Fargo Bank and a former General Merchandise Manager for Winn Dixie. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served on the Courtesy Guild and Women's Ministry.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Freeman; two daughters, LaToya S. Freeman and Falon M. Freeman Johnson; a step son, Kendrick V. (Dominique) Freeman; four brothers, George (Laverna) Cook, William (Elizabeth) Cook, Kevin Cook and Timothy (Stephanie) Cook; five sisters, Joanne C. (Ronald) Johnson, Patricia C. (Robert) Bell, Carolyn (Alphonza) Washington, Marilyn (Victor) Sullivan and Audrey (Gassim) Ahmed; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Ann McCain Cook, Mamie Lou Freeman, Ethel Freeman, Bennie (Alameda) Freeman, Raymond (Mary) Freeman, Gracey (Robert) Leverett, Rosalind) Johnson and Pastor Marcella (Solomon) Glover;; three grandchildren; Jaiden M. Hamilton, Devan K. Johnson and Darrien D. Johnson and a host of other relatives and friend
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Eugene D. Beverly officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
